Smakole” is a service that allows users to store and utilize Excel data in the cloud.
It seems to be a solution to the problem of data being scattered in individual Excel books, or data being collected too much in a single Excel book, which makes it extremely heavy.
The interface is the same as the familiar Excel interface, and users can select the data they want to use in the cloud and use it in Excel, or upload new data to the database via Excel.
It seems to be quite in demand.
I’ve heard a lot of talk on Twitter about how people have moved on to BI tools and Python, but have eventually returned to Excel.
